Job Specification: Compliance Manager Location: Based in Northern Ireland with regular travel to Dungiven and Dromore Reports To: Responsible Individual Contract Type: Part-Time / Consultancy Basis (1 visit per home per month) Salary: Competitive, based on experience Travel: Mileage allowance available Role Purpose To ensure that Lifestyles Residential Services continues to deliver the highest standard of care across its childrens residential homes. The Compliance Manager will conduct monthly monitoring visits to both homes (Dungiven and Dromore) and produce formal monitoring reports that are shared with appropriate authorities (including RQIA, Trusts, and the Organisations Board). Key Responsibilities Conduct one announced or unannounced visit per month to each registered childrens home Review compliance with RQIA regulations, minimum standards, internal policies, and best practice Complete a written Regulation 32-style monthly monitoring report for each home Observe care practice, review documentation, and speak with staff and children (as appropriate) Identify areas for improvement and support the Registered Managers with action plans Liaise with senior management regarding risks, safeguarding issues, or urgent actions Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements Essential Criteria Minimum 3 years' experience in a regulated care or safeguarding environment Social Work qualified Strong knowledge of RQIA standards and childrens residential care in Northern Ireland Proven ability to write formal reports and evaluate compliance Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Desirable Criteria Experience as a Registered Manager, Responsible Individual or similar Experience of Regulation 32 or Quality Monitoring Visits Skills: Compliance Social Work Reporting
