Goodman Masson are currently working with a social housing organisation in Sussex to recruit for an interim Compliance Manager. Rate - £350 - £425 a day INSIDE IR35 umbrella About the Role Reporting to the Housing Asset Manager, you will take ownership of compliance across housing assets, ensuring all statutory and regulatory obligations are met. You'll lead a small team of specialists and work closely with contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies to deliver high-quality, safe, and cost-effective services.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage compliance across key areas including: Gas Safety Fire Risk Assessments Asbestos Management Legionella Control Mechanical & Electrical services (e.g. lifts, alarms, electrical testing)
Ensure full compliance with legislation including: Health & Safety regulations Building Safety Act CDM Regulations (2015)
Act as the designated Building Safety Manager, ensuring statutory duties are met and building safety cases are maintained. Manage and monitor compliance-related budgets, ensuring value for money and effective financial control.
