Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with this Client, a well-regarded secondary school in Waltham Forest, to appoint a Computing Teacher for a full-time maternity cover role starting March. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking school with a strong focus on student progress and staff development. Interviews will be arranged immediately.

The Role

Teaching Computing at Key Stages 3 and 4
Delivering engaging lessons across the Computing curriculum, including digital literacy, programming and computer science
Planning, marking and assessing in line with school policies
Working collaboratively within a supportive department
Full time | Start date: March (maternity cover)

Job Role Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching Computing at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for technology
Ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Qualifications & Person Specification

UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS
Experience teaching KS3 & KS4 Computing
Confident, organised and adaptable teaching style
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
