Construction Administrator

My client is a family-owned construction/ property development business based in Derbyshire. They are seeking an experienced administrator to join their friendly team and support with a variety of construction/property duties on a part time basis (30 hours per week). This role will be based in Repton. Working hours will be required over 5 days Monday to Friday 08.00

14.00 with occasional home working. Duties will include: Support in project costing and manage cost portfolio Assist with the input of the Cost plan. Managing the Project Sheet

with all interim costings of the professional team. Gathering reports and surveys and saving them into the one drive in preparation for the Planning Consultant for the planning application. Create and agree the External Materials Schedule which is submitted as part of the planning application. Assist in the planning application liaising with the planning consultant. Create the Site COPP which is required as part of planning. Create the Discharge of Conditions Schedule and complete with the appropriate information in order to get the Conditions discharged with the Council. Gather ad hock quotes, prepare and summarise for the Management Team Carry out Service applications to STW, Cadent and National Grid and manage the process working with site, ordering the materials required for install. Following the process through and keeping the team up to date with the expiry dates. Manage any easements including the applications and the progress from the solicitors to completion. Apply to the Council for road permits e.g. Sec 278, Section 50. Gain quotes from Suppliers to establish who would be best to work with on the given project. Be the point of contact to the professional team and arranging site visits/surveys with the vendor. Assist in the management of all live sites and refurbs

understand where each project is on the programme. Ordering of materials/goods including hire goods for site and raising PO numbers. Print out or acquire H&S information required on site. Liaising with service providers, ordering meters. Liaise directly with suppliers on material availability Create and send out letters to neighbouring properties of sites (if required) to inform them of anything relevant Snagging: collating and passing on to site, liaising with clients to book trades in, and 12 month inspections. Keep the Snagging sheet up to date and keep regular communication with clients. Arrange for Communal Areas of finished sites to be maintained. General Administration Keep a priority list of actions for the coming week. Check the weekly authorisation list to check payments due to be made to ensure they are correct. Ensuring that One Drive/SharePoint is up to date with correct site plans. Registering for Auctions. Skills/experience required Construction or property experience a distinct advantage Must be organised and proactive Ability to multitask and prioritise workload Experience in Microsoft applications and share drive Attention to detail
