A rare opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Continuous Improvement Engineer in a newly created role supporting phenomenal business growth , providing engineering support and technical leadership to production, problem solving on machine and process problems, and working closely with maintenance and process engineers to optimise and improve performance. Key skills Ideally educated to degree level in

mechanical or chemical engineering Some post graduate experience as a production engineer, manufacturing engineer, process engineer or continuous improvement engineer ideally in a process manufacturing environment (paper, tissue, fabric, foil, film, coating, plating, lamination, plastic, paint, composites, casting, steel, batch chemical all relevant) and knowledge of principles such as machine speeds, tensions and temperatures. Experienced in machine-based manufacturing processes, accustomed to diagnosing machine and process based issues, happy to work closely with maintenance to resolve equipment based problems Knowledge of Lean tools

OEE, SMED specifically
