Control Systems Engineers

Good business

Programming proficiency (e.g., PLC, ), knowledge of control systems hardware and software (e.g., SCADA, HMI, DCS), and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Must also possess excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills to design, install, and maintain industrial control systems across various sectors.

Technical skills

Programming: PLC (e.g., Schneider Electric, Allen Bradley, Siemens ),

Software: SCADA systems , and Distributed Control Systems (DCS)

Hardware & systems: Knowledge of industrial PCs, network protocols), and system integration.

Troubleshooting & diagnostics: Ability to analyze data, find faults, and use diagnostic tools.

Soft skills

Problem-solving: Analytical skills to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems.

Project management: Ability to plan and manage projects, including safety, quality, and cost considerations.

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and conveying complex information.

Adaptability: Willingness to stay current with rapidly advancing technology.

Experience and qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree in an engineering field like control systems, electrical, or mechanical engineering is typically required. Degree apprenticeships are also an option.
