Job Description
Job Title: Conveyancing Trainer
Location: London (Hybrid / Office-based)
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum
About the Role
Are you an experienced conveyancer looking for a fresh challenge away from the pressures of managing a caseload?
We are seeking a Conveyancing Trainer to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to step away from fee-earning while still making full use of your technical knowledge and experience.
You’ll play a key role in developing and supporting conveyancing professionals, helping to raise standards, improve performance, and share best practice across the business.
Why This Role?
If you’ve spent years handling files, deadlines, and client pressures, this role offers a genuine change of pace. You’ll still be deeply involved in conveyancing—but without the stress of managing your own caseload.
Instead, you’ll focus on mentoring, training, and shaping the next generation of conveyancers, using the knowledge you’ve worked hard to build.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions to conveyancing staff (both new and experienced)
- Support onboarding and ongoing development of team members
- Provide guidance on processes, compliance, and best practice
- Identify training needs and develop relevant materials
- Act as a subject matter expert within residential conveyancing
- Support continuous improvement across the conveyancing function
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
- Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for mentoring, coaching, or training others
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way
What’s on Offer
- Competitive salary of £50,000 – £55,000
- Opportunity to move away from a fee-earning caseload
- A more structured, less pressured working environment
- Career development within a growing organisation
- Supportive and collaborative team culture
