We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cook / Chef to join our busy Food to Go department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality, fresh food for customers on the go.
You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a range of hot and cold food items while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook a variety of fresh food items to a high standard * Ensure all food is presented attractively and consistently * Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and prep areas * Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations * Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering when required * Minimise waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients * Work collaboratively with team members to meet customer demand
*Requirements*
* Previous experience as a cook, chef, or in a similar food preparation role * Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Strong attention to detail and quality * Reliable, punctual, and hardworking * Flexible availability across Monday to Sunday, including weekends
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £15.35 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
