Corporate Commercial Solicitor Location: GloucesterSalary: Up to £65,000 (DOE)Working Arrangement: Hybrid (initial on-site expectation) About the Role This opportunity sits within a well-established, multi-office firm with a strong presence across the South West. The firm has developed a highly respected Corporate and Commercial offering, acting for SMEs, owner-managed businesses and regional corporates across a wide range of sectors. The team has seen consistent growth over the past few years, driven by an increase in transactional work including business sales, acquisitions and shareholder matters. There is a steady pipeline of work coming from both existing clients and internal referrals, particularly from the firm’s commercial property and private client teams. You will be joining a collaborative team where partners remain hands‑on, offering support and exposure to quality work without the intensity often seen in larger city firms. Responsibilities The role will involve:
Advising on asset and share sales and purchases Drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements Supporting business restructures and corporate transactions Advising on general commercial agreements Working closely with owner‑managed businesses
Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will:
Be a qualified Solicitor with Corporate / Commercial experience Be confident managing transactions with supervision where needed Be commercially aware and pragmatic in your advice Be keen to develop within a growing team
