A 12-month opportunity has arisen for an accountant to join a high-growth, listed business within its Corporate Reporting team.
This role offers a unique blend of technical reporting and narrative storytelling. It is particularly well-suited to individuals who enjoy shaping clear, engaging messaging - making it an excellent role for someone with a genuine interest in writing or creative communication alongside their accounting career.
Working in a highly visible, externally focused role, you will contribute to the production of Annual and Half-Year Reports, helping translate complex financial, strategic and ESG information into clear, compelling disclosures. You will engage with senior stakeholders across Finance, Legal and Risk, gaining broad exposure while developing both technical and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Support the production of Annual and Interim Reports, with a strong focus on drafting and refining narrative content
Contribute to the Strategic Report, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent and aligned to commercial objectives
Draft governance, risk and regulatory disclosures
Coordinate inputs from stakeholders across the business
Prepare documentation for Audit Committee and external review
Monitor developments in reporting regulations and best practice
Support ESG and sustainability reporting, including regulatory disclosures
Assist with reporting projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
ACA / ACCA (or near completion), with experience in audit or financial reporting
Strong written communication skills with a flair for structuring clear, engaging content
Experience or exposure to external reporting within a regulated or listed environment
Confident working with senior stakeholders
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
Able to translate technical accounting into accessible, reader-friendly disclosures
