A Cover Supervisor is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Cover Supervisor position will be part time and temporary in the first instance.

If appointed as a Cover Supervisor, your duties will include but not be limited to:

Covering different lessons in the absence of class teachers
Managing pupil behaviour effectively and promoting positive behaviour
Engaging with pupils in classes and ensuring the schools behaviour policies are upheld
Holding good understanding of ICT and how to carry out basic administrative tasks
Demonstrating a positive attitude and adapting to different situations effectively

The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor post will be between £82.14 to £140 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

An 'Outstanding' Mixed Academy School & Sixth Form for pupils aged 11 to 19 years old, located in the London Borough of Wandsworth.

A heavily subscribed school with a percentage of pupils applying to Russell Group universities.

The proportion of pupils achieving this at the end of Year 11 is well above the national average.

Extra-curricular activities also play a large part of the school's life, including music and sports events, as well as museum trips.

In terms of academic achievements, the school produces results that placed it within the top 1% nationally for the fifth year running.

Requirements

You will be considered if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this role as a Cover Supervisor:

Right to work in the UK
Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Cover Supervisor in UK schools
