Salary: £100 - £130 per day

TeacherActive are looking for a strong, flexible, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor for our secondary schools across Sheffield.

A Cover Supervisor is responsible for managing the classroom, supervising pupils, and ensuring students complete the work set by the teacher. The role involves supporting pupils with tasks and questions, maintaining good behaviour, collecting completed work, and reporting back to teaching staff. Cover Supervisors also handle any immediate issues or emergencies in line with the school’s policies and procedures.

You will be able to work full-time or part-time with roles ranging from daily bookings to long-term assignments.

The successful Cover Supervisor will:

Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+
Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
Qualifications are desired but not required
