Crane Installation Supervisor

We areseeking an experiencedInstallationSupervisorto lead and coordinate crane installation projects across the UK. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are deliveredon time, first time, and on budget, to thehighest safety and engineering standards, while providing an excellent customer experience aligned with our customer promise.You will work closely with installers, planners, sales teams, and external partners to successfully install and commission bothCTO and ETO products, supporting our business plan and driving continuous improvement across installation operations.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct site visits at tender stage to confirm installation methodologies are achievable and aligned with budget expectationsDevelop, compile, and present high-qualitylift plansand supporting documentation, confidently explaining installation methodologies to clientsSource and coordinate labour, plant, and materials required for installationsLead installation teams through installation, commissioning, crane handover, and completion documentationMaintain and enforceSafe Systems of Work (SSoW)and Risk Assessments throughout all activitiesSupport the sales team with installation input during project offeringsMaximise productivity and effective utilisation of direct installation resourcesSupport Installation Planners with day-to-day coordination, proactively managing delays and resolving issues while keeping customers informedChampion customer experience to encourage repeat business and leave a positive, lasting impression of KonecranesDrive continuous improvement in installation processes and operational efficiencyThis role may also include additional duties within your capability to meet the needs of the business.Skills and ExperienceStrong ability to plan, prioritise, and organise workloadsProven experience working on construction-based projectsExperience managing remote, field-based teamsGood understanding of Lifting Directives, Machinery Directive, and Building StandardsAbility to interpret architectural, engineering, and OEM drawingsStrong IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and AutoCADEffective problem-solving skillsPersonal AttributesStrong people management and leadership skillsExcellent communication skills, able to engage at all levels and across departmentsLeads by example and remains calm and effective under pressureConfident in delivering both good and challenging messagesProactive, positive, and can-do attitudeNaturally inquisitive, questioning assumptions rather than taking things at face valueAble to assert authority when required to ensure tasks are completedEducation & QualificationsAppointed Person qualification with proven experienceCPCS LiftingSupervisorCPCS Slinger/SignallerEvidence of aSupervisory or Management disciplineSite-based safety qualifications (SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH)Mechanical and/or Electrical qualification NVQ minimumStrong IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and AutoCADJBRP1_UKTJ
