Credit Controller

We are working with a well-establish client who is looking for a Credit Controller to join their Finance team.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Assist in managing a shared inbox and supporting the Credit Control function with day-to-day admin
* Evaluate a client’s credit status, ensuring appropriate credit limits are set and maintained.
* Proactively manage overdue accounts, implementing effective debt recovery procedures and following up with clients as needed.
* Liaise with customers to ensure timely payments and build strong relations to facilitate ongoing business.
* Provide regular reports on receivables and overdue accounts to senior management.
* Collaborate with finance teams to forecast cash flow and mitigate risk associated with credit exposure.
What We’re Looking For
* Solid experience as a Credit Controller, in Accounts Receivable, or a similar dedicated finance role
* Excellent ability to communicate and negotiate confidently with customers at all levels
* High attention to detail, coupled with strong organisational and time management skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and hands on experience using accounting systems
* The ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively
* A good understanding of credit risk assessment, debt recovery processes and relevant legal procedures
