The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats, and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London, including Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James's Park, and more. We also manage other important public spaces such as Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens, making these iconic green spaces some of the most visited attractions in the UK, with tens of millions of visits annually. We are now looking for a Credit Controller to join our dynamic and passionate team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 36 hours per week. The Benefits £34,743 - £37,000 per annum, depending on experience 26 days' annual leave plus public holidays, increasing to 29 days after 3 years' service Pension scheme (3% employee contribution; up to 10% employer contribution) Hybrid/agile working options Private medical insurance and healthcare cash plan Employee assistance programme and access to mental health first aiders Learning and development opportunities Cycle to work scheme Offices in a beautiful location The Role We're looking for an experienced Credit Controller to take ownership of our debtor ledger and play a key role in strengthening and modernising our credit control framework. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts, assessing credit risk, resolving customer queries and maintaining strong relationships with customers across the organisation. You'll also contribute to the development and implementation of improved credit control policies, processes and reporting, helping to support healthy cash flow and reduce financial risk. You will: Take ownership of debt recovery across two company debtor ledgers, ensuring activity meets agreed KPIs Communicate professionally with customers to investigate and recover outstanding balances Investigate and resolve non-payment and reconciliation issues, escalating complex cases where required Maintain accurate and detailed records of all credit control activity and customer communications About You To be considered as a Credit Controller, you will need: Experience working in a credit control function within a medium to large organisation or charity Experience of investigating and resolving historic or complex customer balances Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel and the ability to reconcile complex accounts Highly organised, with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise in a busy environment A high level of accuracy and attention to detail We want to put everyone in the best possible position to succeed and use Recite-me accessibility software.
