Precision: Reads drawings to ensure the curtain wall is installed accurately and to specification.
Requirements - CSCS BLUE CARD/CSCS GREEN CARD
Fixers Mate Assistance: Helps the lead fixer with lifting, maneuvering, and installing heavy glazing or metal frames. Preparation: Prepares the work area, cleans materials, and prepares joints for sealing. Tool Handling: Maintains and hands tools to the fixer, often providing their own tools. Support: Works under supervision to move materials, operate machinery, and support installation teams (often holding a CSCS green card).
They frequently work together as a team to ensure the building envelope is weather-tight and structurally secure.
