Data/Product Analyst

Location: Remote (UK-based only)

Salary: Up to £45,000

The Company

We’re partnered with a well-known UK-based media and digital content group, known for owning a variety of high-traffic online brands across entertainment, genealogy, lifestyle, and learning. With millions of monthly users, the business is now focusing on converting new users into long-term subscribers through insight-led product decisions.

The Role

This is a junior-mid level analytics role sitting in the product team, reporting into the Head of Data Science & Analytics. You’ll work across one of their flagship digital platforms, helping teams understand user behaviour, optimise customer journeys, and support personalisation efforts. A strong grounding in SQL and a passion for experimentation are key.

Key Responsibilities

• - Analyse user journeys and behavioural data to support product and growth teams.
• - Develop dashboards and self-serve tools to visualise performance and track KPIs.
• - Support A/B testing and experimentation initiatives to improve user conversion.
• - Provide insights on new vs returning user behaviours and subscription funnels.
• - Work closely with engineers and data scientists to improve data models and pipelines.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• - Good working knowledge of SQL for data analysis.
• - 1–2 years experience in a data, product or digital analytics role.
• - Strong understanding of user behaviour, customer journeys, and retention metrics.
• - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-led environment.

Desirable:

• - Experience working on a consumer-facing digital product.
• - Exposure to A/B testing, personalisation, or subscription funnel optimisation.
• - Some experience with Python and data modelling pipelines.
