This role will be remote but the ideal candidate willbe willing to commute to the Taunton or South Ockendon officeon occasion, where required. The ideal candidate will work alongside the wider Data Analysis team to develop, populate, and maintain a Data Warehouse (DWH), enabling the business to maximise the use of this data to support operational plans and decision making in support of the businesss vision. What you'll be doing Achieve individual objectives and key performance indicators and maintain own technical competence with in-depth knowledge sufficient to fulfil the role Continually expand knowledge of SQL Server and its related tools Create and modify DWH objects, such as tables and views; Develop, and maintain, ETL processes to update the data within the DWH Performance tuning of the DWH, such as indexing, for both the updating and consumption of data within it Monitor automated tasks failed on the SQL Server estate, and review or escalate within the team as necessary What you'll need to have Strong knowledge ofdata warehouse development, SQL Server, the T-SQL dialect andSSIS development and deployment Inquisitive and prepared to challenge and investigate anomalies in data Organised, resourceful, deadline driven and supportive of the wider team Highly communicative, Quality orientated, Flexible, pragmatic, and approachable Highly focused on project delivery within agreed timescales What makes you stand out Level 3 qualified in a relevant field Experience in / knowledge of the insurance industry What we offer 28days annual leave plus bank holidays Your birthday off Group Personal Pension Bonus scheme A holiday buy scheme An array of health and wellbeing benefits, company cash plan, income protection and life assurance Enhanced sick pay andparental leave Support and funding toward study and professional qualifications Paid time off forvolunteering Lloyd & Whyte offer a range of specialist insurance services to a variety of clients.
