This role offers an excellent opportunity to establish and maintain capabilities for how USSIM manages the quality of investment data. This senior position plays a critical role in driving data-related strategies that support USSIMs strategic objectives. What you will be doing The successful candidate will lead data quality initiatives and support the USSIM Head of Data Oversight on all related matters across the investment business. The key responsibilities include: Supporting the development and implementation of a comprehensive data quality plan aligned with USSIMs data strategy, goals, and risks. Establishing data quality metrics and monitoring processes to oversee investment data quality. Supporting Business Data Owners and Data Stewards in implementing and overseeing data quality measures. Analyzing large datasets to assess quality, identify trends, and target areas for improvement. Prioritizing data quality initiatives in collaboration with business units, operational risk teams, and project teams. Contributing to the strategic data program, including championing data quality tools and supporting new technology implementations. Drafting the Data Quality Framework and managing its rollout in conjunction with Data Governance. Communicating issues, risks, and progress through reports and updates to leadership and stakeholders. Managing relationships with market data vendors and overseeing control environments. Promoting best practices in data quality within data projects. Collaborating with the Head of Data Governance and Data Architect to advance data management practices. To succeed, you should have: Experience in Investment Management with a strong understanding of investment data. Attention to detail and analytical skills to interpret large datasets. Experience managing operational teams and implementing data quality controls. Familiarity with data quality tools and enterprise data platforms. Knowledge of data architecture, governance, and management best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in data quality systems, advanced Excel, Power BI. A proactive, enthusiastic, and practical approach to teamwork. Experience with large data programs is desirable.
