Data Technical Lead - Up to £110,000 base + bonus We are looking for a Data Technical Lead to take full ownership of enhancing a data platform and developing business insights at a trading firm. The role involves working closely with senior stakeholders to understand the insights they need, and building a platform and dashboards using SQL, Python, and PowerBI. This is a hands‑on leadership position. You will design and implement data capabilities, shape our data strategy, governance and processes, and manage one technical data analyst. Your work will drive data‑driven decision‑making and deliver transformative business results. Responsibilities

Build and maintain a robust data platform using SQL, Snowflake, and Python. Develop interactive dashboards and reports in PowerBI for senior stakeholders. Shape and evolve the organization’s data strategy, governance, and processes. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Manage a small technical data analyst team, providing mentorship and guidance.

Qualifications

Mid‑Senior level experience in data engineering or data analysis. Strong practical expertise with PowerBI, SQL, Snowflake, and Python. Experience designing data pipelines and data governance frameworks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Track record of leading data‑driven initiatives and delivering measurable impact.
