The Job You Will Do: Provide emergency breakdown support to production machinery and equipment Conduct regular planned maintenance as per the maintenance schedule Support the UK Engineering Manager with engineering projects, including design, specification, purchasing, and installation Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs across a wide range of production and support equipment Monitor equipment performance, identifying and resolving recurring issues Maintain accurate records for all maintenance activities Assist with external contractors and service engineers, ensuring adherence to safety standards Ensure all work aligns with company Health & Safety, ISO 14001, and other internal and external compliance standards Take part in initiatives to improve downtime, efficiency, and health and safety Maintain a clean, organised and hazard-free work environment About You: Ideally HNC qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical preferred) Recognised time-served apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance Operations or equivalent Proven maintenance experience in a factory/manufacturing environment (essential) Post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role (desirable) Knowledge ofMotors, drives, PLCs, gearboxes, transmissions Strong team player with proactive attitude Excellent initiative and problem-solving skills Able to prioritise and adapt to changing schedules Strong attention to detail and accuracy Confident communicator across all levels and departments
