The Company

Looking for your next move in FMCG demand planning? We’re partnering with a fantastic FMCG organisation within the grocery, household, and healthcare categories to find a skilled Demand Planner to join their Commercial Operations team.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the demand planning side of the integrated business planning (IBP) process, ensuring that a 15-month statistical base forecast is updated monthly for all products and customers, and reviewed according to priority to ensure accuracy. You will ensure inputs from marketing, sales, and finance are incorporated into the forecast.

You will forecast, monitor stock management, and analyze the effects of supply variations. Reviewing sales history trends to provide accurate sales forecasts will be a key focus. Additionally, you will monitor and maintain stock and supply updates to ensure accurate stock levels, minimizing waste and maximizing profit. This role emphasizes analysis, trends, and strategic thinking.

The position is office-based with the flexibility to work from home up to two days a week.

About You

Of graduate calibre, with experience in a Demand Planner role within an FMCG company. Excellent communication skills are essential for liaising across departments. You should possess strong analytical and numerical skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
