About your new company: My client is a Plant Hire company with depots across the UK, due to their continued success they are now looking for a skilled Workshop Manager to join their ever growing team.

About your new Depot Manager role:

- Oversee depot operations including equipment hire, maintenance, and logistics. - Manage and lead depot staff (drivers, engineers, yard team). - Ensure all generators and equipment are serviced, safe, and ready for hire. - Plan and coordinate deliveries, collections, and scheduling. - Maintain high levels of customer service and handle escalations. - Monitor fleet condition, organise repairs, and minimise downtime. - Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures. - Maintain accurate records, stock levels, and operational reporting. - Drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the depot.

What you’ll need to succeed in the Depot Manager role;

- Ideally have a background as Depot Manager on Generators, Plant, Powered Access, Forklifts, agriculture, or construction machinery - A proven track record of guiding a team - A full, valid driving licence - Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure is essential. - NVQ level 3 in Plant
