With a strong national depot network and a 24/7 service capability, they support customers with both planned projects and emergency response solutions across a wide range of industries including construction, utilities, facilities management and industrial sectors.The RoleBased from the Doncaster depot, this is a hands-on, workshop-based role focused on the inspection, service, repair and preparation of pumping equipment. You'll play a key role in ensuring all equipment returned from site is quickly turned around, fully operational, and ready for the next hire.This role is ideal for an engineer who prefers a stable depot environment while still working on a varied range of equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect, service and repair returned pump equipment and associated systemsCarry out fault-finding on mechanical and basic electrical issuesPrepare and test equipment prior to hire, ensuring it is fully operationalRefurbish and maintain diesel and electric pump units, including submersible pumpsAccurately complete service records and job reportsSupport general depot operations including equipment movement and organisationMaintain a safe working environment in line with health & safety proceduresWhat We're Looking ForExperience as a Pump Engineer, Service Engineer or similar mechanical roleStrong mechanical knowledge (essential)Experience with pumps, plant, generators or similar equipmentIdeally experience working on diesel engines and associated systemsFault-finding and diagnostic skillsA hands-on, proactive approach with good attention to detailAbility to work independently within a depot environmentFull UK driving licence (preferred)Desirable:Experience within the hire industryBasic electrical knowledgeForklift (FLT) licenceWhat's on Offer£37,000 - £45,000 basic salary (depending on experience)Overtime opportunities availableOngoing training and developmentStable, long-term career opportunityProgression into senior or field-based engineering rolesWhy Apply?This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to step away from field work or secure a more structured, depot-based role.
