A rewarding role full of variety, no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities Support the Manager in overseeing all aspects of the Childrens Home, from program development to evaluation. Lead a multidisciplinary team, teachers, support staff, and therapists, while fostering a culture built on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Work closely with families, educational partners, and external agencies to create personalised learning plans. Monitor and refine interventions to secure positive outcomes for every child. Stay informed on current research, best practices, and developments in special education, embedding new insights into service delivery. Assist with budget management, resource planning, and regulatory compliance. Requirements Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce or Health & Social Care Experience supporting people with challenging behaviour, ideally children. Strong understanding of diverse learning needs, learning styles, and intervention approaches. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire a team, cultivating a supportive, high-performing environment. Knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to special education. Flexibility and confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
