The Opportunity

We're proud to be partnering with a leading manufacturing company based in Brackley, working across Automotive, Formula One, and Medical sectors. They're expanding their Design Engineering Team and are seeking a CAD Designer with experience in CATIA to help implement this as their core CAD platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking, high-precision environment where your work supports the design of tooling for composite components.

Key Responsibilities

Produce technical tooling drawings to ensure manufacturability and assembly

Model components to customer specifications using CATIA

Interpret and compare data models and 3D notes

Create and manage BOM (Bill of Materials)

Liaise with internal teams

Develop internal manuals and drawing standards

Provide design-related support to production and other areas.

About You

Proficient in CATIA with knowledge of composite manufacturing

Experience in component or tooling design

Confident understanding of technical/laminate drawings

Familiar with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

Strong IT skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Strong communicator with good time management and organisational skills
