DESIGN MANAGER REQUIRED ON PERMANENT BASIS IN CAMBRIDGESHIRE FOR A MAIN CONTRACTOR

I am assisting my client with an exciting opportunity for a Design Manager to join a leading main contractor. The business undertakes projects in various sectors including Commercial, Education and Defence with values ranging between £10m and £100m.

As Design Manager you will be responsible for managing projects to ensure their safe completion, in accordance with programme, specification, and budget.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Package

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee design processes during pre-construction and, when necessary, construction phases. Analyse and interpret Employer's Requirements documents. Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive Contractor's Proposals. Coordinate and supervise external design consultants Implement innovative and cost-effective design solutions. Ensure timely delivery of design information and resolve issues within strict deadlines.
