PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Design Manager to Join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Manchester with works across the North West. This role will be working on projects within the Water sector.\n\nDesign Manager Roles and Responsibilities\n\nManage the agreed contract with external design consultants, ensuring that duties are discharged under the contract and if not, that appropriate action is taken.\nManagement of multi-disciplinary teams of Engineers from within the business, consultants, and partner companies in the production of project solutions to the required level of design.\nEvaluate designs and solutions.\nCollaboration with other technical, operational, maintenance, and strategic stakeholders and design coordinators.\nLiaison with Engineering Managers, Project Managers and consultants concerning project issues, scope changes, risks, etc.Design Manager Requirements\n\nMinimum 10 years of design and management experience\nFoul water drainage system\nPotable Water Mains\nMEICA Experience \nBuilding Information Modelling (BIM) and common data environments\nDegree/HNC qualified, or equivalent, in civil engineering\nMember of a recognised engineering institution, Incorporated Engineer, or Chartered Engineer and or working towards membership\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with both clients and staff\nSelf-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook\nPeople management, time management, and project design managementDesign Manager Benefits\n\nSalary - £70,000 - £75,000 DOE\nCompany Pension\nLife Assurance\nPrivate Medical\n25 days of annual leave in addition to 8 public bank holidays and loyalty days\n8 hours volunteering\nEmployee Assistance Programme to support your mental, physiological and financial wellbeing\nFlexible benefits via salary sacrifice\nCompany car/green car scheme/car allowance/Van\nLeadership & management training and coaching\nRegular line management engagement and appraisal to support your career progression\nDevelopment supported by internal and externally delivered training\nContinuous service awardsIf you are interested in this Design Manager role, please apply or contact Jack Brown at PSR Solutions
