Our client, a leading Civil Engineering and Infrastructure specialist, is seeking a Design Project Manager to join their team in London on a contract basis. Responsibilities for Design Project Manager: Lead and manage the pre-construction phase with the client to secure future sustainable design and build opportunities. Oversee multi-disciplinary consultant teams across several design packages. Identify and control project risks and opportunities. Apply commercial and technical change-control procedures. Manage compliance with all project deliverables and assurance/governance requirements. Develop, track, and deliver pre-construction budgets and programmes. Prepare and submit progress reports and dashboards with clear narrative for clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with internal and external technical, operational, maintenance, and strategic stakeholders. Coordinate site investigations and surveys. Ensure preparation and implementation of project plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
