This is an excellent opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects across a national estate.You will oversee multiple projects simultaneously across greenfield, brownfield, refurbishment, including Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.Development Manager Key ResponsibilitiesManage construction projects from inception through to completion and defects stageOversee design, specification, and procurement of major works projectsEnsure compliance with CDM Regulations, Building Regulations, and health & safety legislationAct as Contract Administrator (JCT), including site visits and progress monitoringPrepare cost estimates and capital expenditure reports for senior stakeholdersLead project meetings and contribute to design developmentSupport planning applications and building regulations approvalsMaintain project documentation and standard specificationsReview drawings from concept through to as-built using AutoCADMonitor project progress using project management systemsProvide technical advice on site development and potential new opportunitiesManage multiple projects simultaneously across a varied estate portfolioDevelopment Manager Essential Skills & Experience:Minimum 2 years' experience in construction project managementExperience administering JCT contractsGood knowledge of Building Regulations, CDM, and health & safety legislationCSCS card holder; SMSTS desirable (training can be provided)Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide, including overnight staysExperience working across greenfield, brownfield, or environmentally sensitive sitesProficient in AutoCADStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projectsExcellent communication and report writing skillsConfident working with internal teams and external consultantsStrong IT skills (Microsoft Office and Google Workspace)Desirable:Degree or HND in a relevant disciplineMembership of CIOBExtra Information:Refer a friend and earn up to £500 (see website for details)Due to high application volumes, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
