Job title: Digital Communications Officer (Video) Location: North London (Hybrid - 3 days on site, 2 days from home) Contract: 3-month rolling contract Rate: £33.22 per hour (umbrella)

Working closely with our Communications and Campaigns team, you'll plan, film, edit and publish story-led content that showcases real frontline services and how the council delivers for their residents. Across ten weekly themes - including street cleaning and recycling, parks and leisure, community safety, housing, and support for children, young people and local businesses - you'll turn briefs into engaging narratives that align with council branding, campaign messaging and accessibility standards.

You'll also monitor performance, analyse results and recommend improvements to help the campaign meet its goals.

About you

A confident, creative video storyteller with strong Premiere Pro skills

Solid understanding of social media best practice, trends and platform optimisation

Able to make complex or dry information engaging and impactful

Highly organised, collaborative and comfortable working at pace across multiple locations and stakeholders
