Job Description
Director of Materials Management

What to expect:
Director of Materials Management directs operations and plans to optimize the flow of raw materials, supplies and equipment from initial procurement to the final disposition and fulfill material requirements for volume, cost and scheduling business operations.
Salary: $85,000 to $100,000 per year

What you will get to do:
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize materials management processes and procedures.
Oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials, ensuring the best quality and pricing are obtained.
Manage inventory control systems to optimize stock levels, minimize waste and avoid stock outs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting and timely delivery of materials.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.
Implement and maintain efficient distribution channels to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
Prepare and analyze reports on material management metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards including safety and environmental guidelines.
You will bring these qualifications:
Experience Level: Senior-Level
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, logistics or related field.
Proficiency in using material management software and ERP systems.
Must have experience and knowledge of EPA systems.
Professional certifications relating to materials and supply chain management.
At least five years of supervisory experience is highly .
Shift & Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM
