This role is responsible for improving how commercial teams operate across sales, marketing and customer‑facing functions, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy, execution discipline and predictable revenue outcomes. The focus is on creating clear visibility into performance through rigorous use of data, systems and process — not theory or slideware.Working closely with senior revenue leadership, the role owns pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy and performance reporting, ensuring leaders clearly understand what is working, what is not, and where action is required. It drives consistent ways of working across teams, eliminates manual effort and duplication, and ensures core systems genuinely support day‑to‑day commercial activity.This is a deeply hands‑on role. The successful candidate personally interrogates data, using SQL, BI tools and CRM data structures to diagnose issues, uncover trends and clearly explain what is happening in the business. They are not a high‑level strategist who delegates analysis — they bring clear, practical recommendations to revenue leadership to accelerate winning trends and correct those that are off‑track.A critical part of the role is owning data quality and establishing a single source of truth. This includes enforcing pipeline hygiene, defining clear metrics and definitions, and driving strong data governance across CRM, forecasting and reporting. The role has the authority and confidence to push back where needed to protect data integrity and commercial clarity.Success is reflected in trusted pipeline and forecasts, clear and actionable performance reporting, smoother execution across commercial teams, and simpler, more scalable ways of working. The role suits someone with senior experience in sales, revenue or commercial operations who is comfortable operating in changeable environments, enjoys improving how things work in practice, and combines strong technical depth with commercial judgement and execution discipline.
