Permanent Role | Domestic Maintenance & Breakdown
Hill McGlynn is currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable and expanding company covering London, Kent and the wider South East. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join their permanent team.

The Company:
Our client is a reputable Integrated Property and M&E Contractor with over 65 years experience in keeping buildings performing safely and efficiently across the UK.
With a steady stream of repeat business and new enquiries, they offer long-term stability and genuine progression opportunities.
The Role:
As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you will carry out servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs within domestic properties across London and the South East.
The role includes participation in a 1 week in 4 on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities:
Boiler servicing and breakdown repairs
Landlord gas safety certificates (CP12s)
Fault diagnosis and repairs
Ensuring all works meet current safety regulations
Maintaining accurate job records
Participating in a 1 in 4 on-call rota
Ideal Candidate Profile:
ACS Domestic Gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1)
Proven domestic servicing and breakdown experience
Full clean UK driving licence
Based in London, Kent or surrounding areas
Own van (company van and fuel card available)
Strong customer service skills
Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
What's on Offer:
Salary up to £48,000 depending on experience
Permanent role
Time and a half for call-outs
On-call 1 week in 4
Call-outs rarely later than 10pm
£30 bonus per successful fix on call-out
Company van provided if required
Fuel card provided
