Lineside Engineer

is required to support a

major international aerospace organisation

at its

Broughton wing manufacturing facility . The organisation is a global leader in aerospace, defence and space systems, delivering advanced aircraft, satellite and launch solutions worldwide. This opportunity sits within the

production engineering environment , working directly on the shopfloor to support manufacturing teams and ensure smooth production flow. The role focuses on resolving technical issues, supporting non-conformities, and driving continuous improvement across production operations. Key Responsibilities Provide

lineside engineering support

to production and Autonomous Production Teams (APT) on the shopfloor. Investigate and resolve

technical production issues

not manageable by operators or First Line Managers. Support the

creation, documentation and resolution of Non-Conformities (NC)

and production anomalies. Raise and manage

Design Query Notes (DQN)

relating to process deviations, equipment issues and design queries. Generate

rework work orders and supporting technical documentation

to unblock production activities. Retrieve and interpret

engineering drawings, tooling information, parts data and technical references

to support production. Monitor and manage

outstanding work and blocked work orders , escalating through Production Place Control (PPC) where required. Collaborate with

quality, manufacturing, maintenance and supply chain teams

to maintain production flow. Support

continuous improvement and Lean initiatives , including work improvement proposals and waste reduction. Assist with the

repair, modification and specification of tooling, jigs and industrial assets . Ensure

EHS and quality standards

are applied and maintained on the shopfloor. Required Skills & Experience Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) Experience supporting

manufacturing or production environments Strong ability to

identify and resolve technical production issues Experience working with

technical documentation, drawings and work instructions Please note:
