Following significant growth and service expansion, a well-established and highly respected engineering group is looking to appoint a Drainage Civil Engineer to join its expanding team — fully remote.
Over the past few years, the business has broadened its offering across Demolition, Drilling, Ground Stabilisation, Remediation, Plant Hire and Civil Engineering contracting, alongside its established Geotechnical, Environmental, Planning and Renewable Energy consultancy services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic organisation with a strong pipeline of technically engaging projects and genuine flexibility.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality drainage and flood risk solutions, including:
Preparing Flood Risk Assessments for planning applications
Producing drainage strategy reports
Designing surface water and foul drainage systems (SuDS)
Liaising with local authorities, highways teams and water authorities
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, cost-effective solutionsWhat They’re Looking For
Experience using InfoDrainage or MicroDrainage
Strong understanding of UK drainage standards and CIRIA C753 (SuDS)
Experience preparing FRAs in line with NPPF, EA and TAN15 guidance
Good knowledge of UK planning and regulatory frameworks
GIS experience
Strong communication skills
Ideally 2+ years’ consultancy experienceWhy Join?
