Drainage Engineer\nVertical Recruitment are working with an award-winning Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy in the Wirral. They are expanding their infrastructure team and looking for an experienced Drainage Engineer. They work on a broad project portfolio across mixed-use developments, historical refurbishments, commercial spaces, residential schemes, and leisure facilities.\nAs a Drainage Engineer, you’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to design and deliver below-ground drainage and surface water management solutions across a diverse range of projects.

You'll play a key role in producing high-quality, compliant designs that align with planning and adoptable standards.\nResponsibilities:\n * Design foul and surface water drainage systems using MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage\n * Work with AutoCAD and Civil 3D for modelling and drawing production\n * Contribute to SuDS strategies and flood risk assessments\n * Prepare drainage layouts and strategy reports for planning\n * Liaise with clients, architects, local authorities, and other stakeholders\n * Support junior engineers and coordinate with the wider civils and structures team\nRequirements:\n * Min 3 years experience.\n * Degree in Civil Engineering.\n * Proficient with AutoCAD.\n * Proficient with Causeway/Micro drainage.\n * Experience preparing drainage strategies, FRAs, S104/S106.\n * Experience with Civil 3D desired but not essential.\n * Working towards ICE Chartership.\nPackage:\n * 31 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)\n * 6% employer's pension contribution\n * Health insurance\n * Life insurance\n * Flexible working hours\n * Hybrid working\n * Generous Christmas bonus
