easily accessible from Stoke-on-Trent, who are looking to appoint a committed Drama Teacher - with the ability to teach some English - from
May half-term
. This is a
full-time maternity cover
initially through to the summer term, with potential for extension for the right candidate.
The Role:
Teach Drama and English across KS3 and KS4 KS5 teaching desirable but not essential
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
Take on full planning, marking, and assessment responsibilities
Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback and support
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Drama, English, or a related subject (essential) Recent experience teaching Drama and/or English
Confident teaching
KS3-KS4 (KS5 advantageous) Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
Reliable, professional, and committed to a long-term placement
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply)
