Driver / Customer Service Courier

Location: Bristol, BS1 4NT
Salary: £23,809.50 (£11,904 pro rata'd on a 6 month FTC)
Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week) Monday - Friday.
Contract: 6 Month FTC (with a possibility to become permanent)

We are now recruiting for a professional and efficient Delivery Driver / Customer Service Courier to join our team based from our Bristol Branch.

As our Driver, you will be the face of Hobs to many customers, facilitating the collection and delivery service of prints and stationery to the Customer in a given timescale.

You will be working with a lot of our repeat customers, you will be representative of the very best service that Hobs can offer, ensuring this relationship is maintained, and potentially even strengthened!

Additionally as our Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Being flexible enough to be able to make collections/deliveries as and when required, sometimes at short notice.
• Driving a Ford Transit Custom and be responsible for the care, safety and running of the vehicle
• Acting as 1st contact with Customer to be an efficient courier and be presentable and helpful.
• Negotiating with the print room staff to ensure that jobs are completed and returned on time.
• Liaising with Customers to advise if we are very busy on the estimated return time of their particular job, to enable them to prioritise themselves for all eventualities.
• Supporting colleagues or when short-staffed wherever possible.
• Logging jobs in and out to ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Dealing with enquiry calls to customers, regarding deadlines and offering advice for the reprographic needs.

In order to be successful in this role you must:

• Hold a valid UK driving licence
• Have excellent communication skills
• Understand the customer care and client relationship
• Have previous experience in a similar role
