Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Driver. This role involves delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely service to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing deliveries, maintaining vehicle standards, and providing excellent communication with clients and team members. Prior experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations is highly desirable, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting. Responsibilities
Safely operate a vehicle (Van) in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies
Deliver goods to various locations promptly and efficiently, ensuring accurate order fulfilment
Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy or bulky products, requiring physical strength and organisation
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules or issues
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs
Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of goods and equipment
Experience
Proven delivery driver experience of 2 YEARS , preferably within a commercial or logistics environment
Valid Full UK driver licence with a clean driving record
Experience in commercial driving, including operating large vehicles such as lorries or vans
Warehouse experience is advantageous, especially involving heavy lifting and physical handling of goods
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently under minimal supervision
Shift Patterns : Alternate between week 1 & week 2
Week 1 work days - Monday , Wednesday , Friday and Sunday
Week 2 work days - Tuesday , Thursday , Saturday
Delivery drops from Wembley to North Hampshire
