Drivers Mate Southampton £13.15 per hour | Overtime £19.73 (over 48 hours)
Weekend availability is mandatory please do not apply if you are unable to work at least one day of the weekend.
Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting Drivers Mates to work alongside experienced 7.5t lorry drivers for a well-established client based in Southampton .
The Role As a Drivers Mate, you will assist with the delivery of large items to residential properties, including:
Flat-pack furniture

Gym equipment

White goods

This is a physically demanding role and requires a good level of fitness, as heavy lifting is involved.
Working Hours & Shifts The client operates 7 days a week

You will receive a weekly of 4 shifts, however you can be offered up to 5 or 6 if you want them

Weekend work is required and expected

Start time: 06:00

Shift length: approximately 911 hours per day

Key Responsibilities Assisting the driver with safe delivery of goods

Calling customers ahead of arrival to provide delivery updates

Delivering excellent customer service at all times

Acting as a Banksman
