Driver's Mate - Temp to Perm | Gloucester

Looking to build a long-term career in logistics? We're hiring Driver's Mates in Gloucester on a temp-to-perm basis.

Pay:

• £12.71 per hour while temporary
• £30,000 salary upon going permanent

What you'll be doing:

• ✔ Assisting with delivery of kegs, casks, cases & palletised goods
• ✔ Safe loading/unloading using equipment (sack trucks, tail lifts, etc.)
• ✔ Supporting drivers with routes, paperwork & customer service
• ✔ Checking stock and reporting damages/shortages
• ✔ Following all health & safety procedures

What we're looking for:

• ✔ Full UK driving licence (essential)
• ✔ Team player with strong work ethic
• ✔ Good communication & customer service skills
• ✔ Physically fit for manual handling

Progression Opportunity:

Opportunity to progress into HGV Class 1 training. Successful candidates with a full UK driving licence may be offered HGV Class 1 training through an internal driver programme (subject to performance & business needs).
