DT (Engineering) Teacher - Secondary School | January 2026 Start

Location: Bradley Stoke, South Gloucestershire
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (2 Terms)
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)

About the Role
\n
You'll be delivering engaging and well-structured Engineering and DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop practical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for design and technology. The school encourages creativity and supports teachers in delivering a curriculum that is both challenging and accessible.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Design & Technology (Engineering) across Key Stages 3 and 4
\n
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons with practical applications
\n
Support students in developing technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
\n
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
\n
Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic progress
\n
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
\n
\n
\n
What We're Looking For
\n
\n
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
\n
Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology, ideally with an Engineering specialism
\n
Experience teaching up to GCSE level
\n
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
\n
A passion for teaching and student success
\n
A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
\n
