About the role
At Heart of Supply, we are excited to support Early Career Teachers taking their first steps through supply teaching.
If you are qualifying this September and feeling unsure about committing to one school straight away, supply teaching is a great way to get started. These opportunities are ideal for Early Career Teachers who want to build experience, try out different settings, and grow in confidence while being supported along the way. You will be placed in welcoming secondary schools across Lincoln, with work ranging from flexible day-to-day cover through to short-term and longer-term roles.
As an Early Career Teacher, you will bring enthusiasm, curiosity and a willingness to learn, alongside a solid understanding of how to build positive classroom relationships. We are looking for Early Career Teachers across all subjects, including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, PE, Computing, Creative Arts, Technology, Languages and more. You will step into a variety of school environments, delivering engaging lessons using pre-set plans or your own subject knowledge, maintaining a positive learning atmosphere and ensuring continuity for students. Whether you want variety, consistency or a mix of both, we will work closely with you to match Early Career Teacher roles to your skills, preferences and availability, helping you find what suits you best at the very start of your teaching career.
