EC&I Technician

are partnered with a leading power generation business & are seeking an Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Technician to join their team. Working on a days basis with an on-call rota the EC&I Technician will carry out planned & preventative maintenance across the power station. As the EC&I Technician, you will be responsible for: Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on electrical process plant PLC & controls fault diagnosis on rotating plant including fans & pumps Supporting during major maintenance periods such as shutdowns, outages etc Responding to breakdowns to ensure continuous operations Maintaining accurate records using the site CMMS Other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have: A relevant engineering qualified (HNC/NVQ/Apprenticeship etc.) Proven experience in power or related sector (Biomass / CCGT / energy from waste / Water) Experience troubleshooting, fault-finding & rectifying problems on DCS, SCADA & PLCs Electrical maintenance experience on motors, switchgear, VSDs, control panels, etc. Knowledge of all Health, Safety & Environmental legislation & safe systems of work, RAMS, permit to work, etc. This is a permanent position; due to the location of the plant, you will need a full UK driving licence to access the site.
