Ecommerce Assistant ManagerWe have an exciting opportunity for an Ecommerce Assistant Manager working in the Morleys Stores Group based in Wimbledon. It is a full time position, reporting to the Head of CRM & Ecommerce.Responsibilities include:Assist with the day-to-day management of the siteWorking closely with all brands, suppliers and the internal Buying teams to collate all product information to a set criteriaProduct lifecycle management Overseeing that all products, categories and pages are uploaded accurately onsite. Where applicable ensuring that all product descriptions use customer-friendly language, reworking page titles, links, imagery and meta descriptionsResponsible for enhancing site navigation, refining the customer journey, and strategically placing products to sustain growth and drive online salesOnsite digital merchandising Responsible for the set-up of all landing pages and the categorisation of product rangesOverseeing web development- testing and implementing site updates as well as working closely with web developers and external agencies to optimise the sites functionalityResponsible for sharing the Ecommerce weekly trade pack with the senior management team - reporting on sales, key metrics and promotions. Key metrics include Net & Gross sales, Conversion, AOV, Returns Rate etcPlanning and leading campaign recommendations using website analytics and seasonal trends to steer thisWorking alongside the Marketing team to ensuring all campaigns launch on timeWorking closely with the Email team to ensure all product recommendations are merchandised and optimised. As well as suggesting relevant campaignsRequirements of the role:Ecommerce experience essential, preferably in RetailExperienced in working with external agencies including SEO, PPC & Development agenciesExperienced in working with brands & suppliersExcellent attention to detail essentialAdvanced in Shopify and the back-end processStrong copywriting skillsNumerate and analyticalStrong time-management and organisational skillsA quick learner, self-motivated and proactiveFlexible and enjoys working in a fast-paced environmentCommercially drive with a keen interest in fashion, home interiors and retail preferableMorleys Stores Group is privately-owned, operating 7 stores, in Greater London and Newbury, and an Ecommerce platform for our flagship store in Wimbledon.
