We're seeking a talented and proactive Electrical Engineer to help deliver high‑quality, technically robust designs across our capital programmes.\n\nWhy This Role Matters\n\nYou'll play a key role in developing and delivering impactful water and wastewater projects from early concept stages through to completion.

Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you'll provide specialist technical input, manage design deliverables, and help solve complex engineering challenges. You'll also have opportunities to mentor junior team members, contribute to innovation, and support continuous improvement across the engineering function.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDeliver high‑quality technical input for water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.\nAssist in coordinating and delivering design packages to agreed timescales.\nPrepare, review, and verify datasheets, calculations, drawings, and technical reports.\nConduct quality assurance reviews and resolve complex technical design issues.\nSupport project planning processes, including estimating activity durations.\nEnsure designs comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer expectations.\nChampion safety, sustainability, and compliance within all engineering deliverables.\nTravel to various offices and operational sites across the region as required.\n\nAbout You\n\nDegree (MEng/BEng or equivalent) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.\nExperience in water or wastewater design, asset management, or related engineering fields.\nStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.\nProficient in MS Office and relevant engineering software tools.\nClear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAble to work independently while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams.\nFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel.\nProfessional membership (IET or similar) or active progression towards chartership is desirable
