TXM Recruit are excited to be working with a new client who is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer. Our client is a growing business looking to expand and develop next year’s products.

The Role: As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be involved in the development of new designs and the modification of existing systems. Working from specification analysis, you’ll produce accurate technical drawings and schematics using 3D AutoCAD and liaise closely with production, purchasing, and sales teams. You will also contribute to testing, quality assurance, and the continuous improvement of product performance. While the role is predominantly focused on electrical design, it will also include elements of mechanical and pneumatic design.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and update 3D technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD Work on electrical and pneumatic designs for specialised vehicles and systems Collaborate with internal departments throughout the design process Lead and support a small team of electricians Contribute to testing and quality assurance PLC programming – training can be providedIdeal Candidate:

Degree-qualified in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) Experience in electrical or mechanical design, or a graduate/junior engineer with strong design skills Proficient in AutoCAD (experience with 3D design essential) Additional knowledge of electronics or PLC program...
