Electrical Engineer

Ivy Resource Group is looking for a skilled and qualified Electrician to join a growing team delivering high-quality electrical services across both domestic and commercial properties. The engineers working sites are based across the West Midlands mainly in Birmingham and Coventry also Leamington Spa, Hereford and Northampton.
\nKey Responsibilities:\n
\n \n Carry out electrical installations in both commercial and domestic settings
\n
\n
\n Undertake planned and reactive maintenance
\n
\n
\n Install and service 1 & 3-phase power systems
\n
\n
\n Perform EICR testing and documentation
\n
\n
\n Complete LED lighting upgrades and energy-saving solutions
\n
\n
\n Diagnose faults and make effective repairs
\n
\n
\n Ensure all work complies with current electrical and health & safety regulations
\n
\n
\n Accurately complete documentation and liaise with clients and management
\n
\n
\n Take a proactive approach in identifying and quoting for additional works
\n
\n
\nRequirements:\n
\n \n Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical installation
\n
\n
\n City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations (BS7671:2018)
\n
\n
\n City & Guilds 2391-52 (Testing & Inspection)
\n
\n
\n Strong understanding of BS 7671 regulations
\n
\n
\n Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
\n
\n
\n Full, clean UK driving licence
\n
\n
\n Willingness to travel and participate in out-of-hours call-out rota
\n
\n
\n Strong communication skills and professional attitude
\n
\n

\n \n £100 paid for the week of cover (calculated at £10/day Monday-Friday and £25/day Saturday-Sunday)

\n Attended call-outs paid at £40 for the first hour, then time and a half for additional hours
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n Sick pay in line with statutory sick pay (SSP) regulations
\n
\n
\n
