Electrical Engineer7 Steel UK - CardiffUp to £52,000 plus £2,550 callout & 10% bonusJoining our Rod and Bar Mill team as an Electrical Engineer, youll be working on some of the largest pieces of kit and machinery youll find in the industry. Some of your responsibilities will includePlan, prioritise, schedule, and manage electrical activities, for example planned maintenance programmes, shut-downs, or emergency repairs.Undertake development performance reviews for electrical craftspeople.Ensure that risk assessments, method statements and permits are created, implemented and followed.Estimate the cost, time, and resources required for repair and improvement projects.Work directly with engineers in other disciplines and shift managers to ensure effective running of the process.Working within the wider Engineering Management Team, youll be leading and managing projects as well as a team of Electrical Technicians. Analysis, design and planning are important responsibilities, as well as being down on the plant and getting stuck in.You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer, who is passionate about continuous learning and is always looking to widen their skillset.
